Once all copies of a facsimile edition have been completed, Facsimile Editions Limited guarantees to destroy the printing plates used in the production of that edition (in accordance with Halachic requirements in the case of Hebrew texts, where appropriate) in order to preserve the significant investment value of each edition.
Each edition is strictly limited to the number of complete copies stated in the accompanying descriptive material and each set contains a uniquely numbered certificate of authenticity individually stamped with the seal of the issuing Library and personally signed by the Curator responsible wherever possible.
Facsimiles may only be displayed publicly on the subscriber's premises and may not be loaned, hired or otherwise offered to any third party for public display elsewhere without the prior written consent of Facsimile Editions Limited.
Facsimile Editions Limited undertakes to supply a certificate of dedication to any subscriber at any future date and free of any charge where one was not requested at the time of subscription.
Unless otherwise stated the full list price includes shipping and insurance to the point of delivery worldwide, but excludes any import or other taxes or duties that may be due in the subscriber's country.
Facsimile Editions Limited reserves the right to change production methods, materials, binding, presentation and authors from those specified in any accompanying descriptive material, without notice.
Payment may be made in any freely convertible currency and will be converted to the currency specified in the price list at the rate of exchange used by our bank on the date it is banked. Any surplus will be refunded and shortfalls will be notified. Cheques drawn in US$, Euros or Sterling are acceptable as payment.
Payment charged to a credit or debit card will be converted into Sterling at the rate of exchange used by our payment processing provider on the date that the payment is debited. As the exchange rate may change between the date of the transaction and the date the transaction is processed by the card issuer Facsimile Editions Limited cannot accept responsibility for your card account subsequently being debited with a higher or lower amount to that specified in the price list by reason of exchange rate fluctuation between the date of the transaction and the date of processing.

Damage in transit: If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must make a note on the carrier's consignment note and it will be your responsibility to inform us of any damage within 48 hours of receipt. If possible please take a digital photograph in the presence of the carrier and email this image to us. It is, however, worth mentioning that we do go to great lengths to ensure that our packaging is extremely protective of the contents and in 37 years, we have only had one box damaged in transit – and that one fell out of a Royal Mail delivery van and was run over by the car behind!
Shortages: It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carrier's consignment note. Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note and notified to us within 48 hours of delivery.
Incorrect Goods: It is your responsibility to notify us immediately of any goods incorrectly supplied within 48 hours of delivery.
Non-Deliveries: In the case of a courier delivery the Company will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless it is notified within 48 hours of the anticipated delivery date. The Company does not accept any liability for goods lost in transit where the buyer has chosen to have them despatched by mail.
